Zero to This in 11 Days

As of January 1, all 40 + inches of snow from November - December 2008 had completely melted. Well, there was one inconsequential block of frozen snow about 1' X 2' where this ginormous pile now is.

I wish pictures could give you a better idea of how much snow we've had, but you'll have to come visit to truly experience it. Until then, here I am at the end of my driveway:

P.S. Don't come visit on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday because there's snow in the forecast; we don't want you to wreck your car or anything...

See how the Lord works, he felt sorry for you. You would have to pay to go to the spa for exercise but the Lord brought the spa to your house.
Hehehehehehe
Oooppps, sorry!

Oh heck, that little snow pile is nothing compared to what we have here :). Remember we got the same snowfall as you but we have not been above freezing since sometime in November.

*NDHusker is rereading what he wrote*

Yikes that's a long cold spell...haha

Hey ND... Hope you have plenty of firewood!

Colleen, all that shoveling should work the pounds off.

1. Dad, call your sons. Seriously, DO NOT SHOVEL THE DRIVEWAY.

2. Kellie and Papa, thank you for reminding me that I need to lose weight, because looking in the mirror every day isn't reminder enough! ;)

3. ND, I want pictures of your snowpiles, but only if YOU are the one who manually put them there!

I think it would have been cool if we had all of the first snows under this stuff. The kids would have a blast!
