Hungry

This evening Ken left me napping on the couch and went next door for a game of poker. (It's rainy, no hunting tonight.) The boys were playing pretty well together, I guess, because it didn't occur to Ken to wake me up.

Well, about an hour ago I woke up. I guess the kids didn't get enough dinner (cubed steak paprika, mashed potatoes, and salad - they hated it,) so the boys took it upon themselves to locate a late night snack.

They managed to annihilate an entire bag of snack-sized Snickers and a new box of Star Crunches in less than 1/2 an hour. On top of that, the boys weren't even smart enough to hide the evidence. Wrappers everywhere and chocolate all over my keyboard. When confronted, Shannon informed me that Corey ate it all by himself. Riiight.

Needless to say, I'm in a mood.

Can I get your cubed steak paprika recipe?

Snickers are my favorite too!

Page 300 of the Better Homes and Garden New Cookbook. Must be made with real mashed potatoes.

I robbed the boys of all their chocolate that they brought home from the Fire Station Haunted House today. We might be even.

Did you say real???

The kind that aren't in a box?

The kind you peel and cook?

Didn't know you ever had any real potatoes !!

You're funny, Old Lady. I discovered REAL mashed potatoes about the time I moved to Michigan.

I still keep a box of fake ones around for use as a thickener, though.

AAHHHH, Star Crunches!!! Remember when we were little and we would take a break from swimming and go to Jack & Jill to get those. I seem to remember finishing a box of those in one sitting too. Did the little guys get sick from all the chocolate?
