Riley's friend Anna invited him over to spend the night last night, his first sleep over all by himself not including family members. That was apparently a breeze, when I got moving around this morning and opened up the garage door, there Riley and Anna were, having a picnic in their jammies on the dead end road adjacent to our house. I asked how the night went, they said they slept in a fort connected to the t.v., and that they had gotten along just fine. (Obviously, if they were still playing together this morning...)
Shannon had a serious headache yesterday... so serious that he didn't even care that Riley was going to have a sleepover without him. He was miserable all day, and took four (count them four,) naps yesterday. He kept moving around in his sleep, finally finding some kind of comfort on the floor of the living room. That was one miserable boy...
When it was time for Shannon and Corey to hit the hay, I let them fall asleep to cartoons in my room. When I finally went up to bed, I was too tired to move the boys, so we had our own little sleep over!

Ken finished up a little project last night. He put down some pavers, obliterating part of my flower garden area, so that we would have a place for our yard-waste garbage can. It turned out much nicer than I expected it to, but then again, I thought you just set pavers on top of the grass and voila! Apparently it's a little more involved than that.
