Side Effects

Well, I was feeling great this afternoon, thinking that root canal technology really had gotten much better over the years, when I decided to take the boys to the library. Not three blocks from home I started sweating profusely and my mouth began to water. I made it home, got the boys out of their car seats, ran into the house and barfed into the kitchen sink. Seems my pain meds, antibiotics and anesthesia were a bad mix.

I'm still a little shaky and all, but I really want to go to the library. Hmm...

Have you eaten anything since you took all that medication? I know that eating probably sounds bad right now, but you might try to stop at McDonald's or something and order a shake to coat your stomach. This happened to me when I had an abcest(sp)a few months back, although I didn't get to barf in the comfort of my own home. I barfed in the trash at the dentist's office! I drank a shake after I left the dentists office and felt much better after that.

I'm better. I did make it to the library with the boys, too.

Yeah, I had food in my stomache. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a few oreos. Not pretty coming up, that's for sure!

Possibly. This did happen shortly after I googled 'root canal,' something I should never have done. Kind of a gross procedure, you really don't want to know.

I had root canals in California. I think I had enough for the dentist to make a down payment on a new sports car. They take the nerve out and the tooth is basically dead. It makes them detoriate faster so they can sell you dentures. I dont have anything good to say about them. P.S. I dont like dentists! I have one tooth left. Dont know if I will take it to the grave with me or not.

Going rate from the tooth fairy around here is $1 a tooth... You could get a down payment on a candy bar if you pull it!

The tooth fairy is keeping up with inflation better than the rest of the economy. I used to get a nickel. You could get a candy bar or a bottle of pop for a nickel then. You could get two cents for the empty pop bottle.
