In case you haven't heard, there's a bad case of H1N1 going around, previously referred to as the
swine flu. You don't want to know what I think about the hoopla surrounding this 'deadly' epidemic. My point here is that too many people have swine on the brain, my son Riley included:
The last sentence reads: "Karen flies kites in the pork."

I meant to say "Karen flies kites in the park."

Park? Of course! Good handwriting Riley!

Nice work Riley! I agree that they might be going a little "overkill" on the H1N1 thing! Jonathan was telling me that it is nothing more than another strain of the other flu virus', and it's not even as strong as them!
Mateo had a bug last week and I took him to the doctor to make sure he didn't have strep. When I got there they rushed him back and the doctor and nurses all put masks and gloves on like he had the plague!! They told me that they would have to test him for the swine flu.
Let me tell you, that test was AWFUL for him! If you don't already know how they take the swab, they have to feed it down their nostril to the pharinx (sp)and rub it around for a minute. Not fun for a two year old!
Anyway, Mateo was not stricken with anything other than just some kid stuff that he picked up from his cousins in the previous days! What a joke! I am SO sick of hearing about it.

Great - thanks for the heads up - I won't take my kids in then unless their allergies get REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY bad....hate to have them go through that b/c they have the sniffles.
geez.
If the park was built with Government funding, then it is possible that "Karen flew her kite in the Pork".
Grandpa
