I really need to mow today and I thought I'd put some more plants in the ground. It's going to rain instead. Bummer....
Okay, I lied. The weather front seems to be stalling out over Illinois, so after I made (yet another) trip to the lumber store, I set the mower to high speed and knocked out the entire yard in almost one hour. It's amazing how quick it is to mow now that we've added rock borders and expanded that deck! (We should rock the entire yard, to be honest...)

Wassup, Steve???
It was just turning brown for the fall, and it went and rained buckets last night. Ugg...
Remember that palce on Holdrege near 75? Had an entire rock yard....
there ya go.
I would do it too and I don;t even have the pleasure of mowing - I just wonder if it would mean less allergies and bugs?!?!
Less allergies, maybe... but everytime I picked up a rock, three hairy spiders scurried from underneath it.
I actually thought of you everytime I worked on the rocks. It would have been J-bugs worst nightmare!
You have time to comment but no time to post??? Tell us how Cabo is a go!
Rock is the way to go! Our entire front yard is rocked. We only have a little patch of grass in the backyard. We don't even have a regular lawn mower. We just have one of the old fashioned ones from the 50's!
That's what is great about living in the southwest, they don't allow you to put grass in.

Flea
Where is Mateo and little bro supposed to play??? The cactus garden?
