About Us

My photo
Colleen
I'm Colleen and I've been a stay-at-home mom for seven years. I know I'm lucky to be able to do what I do but sometimes I wonder if I'd prefer my sanity. My husband, Ken, moved me and the boys to Michigan in 2004 and we're here for good. I think. Our oldest boy, Riley, is a quiet, good-natured kid who rarely gives anybody trouble. Except for me. Shannon, our middle child, is the athlete of the family and is currently unable to speak a sentence that doesn't involve tattling. Corey, our 'baby,' is obsessed with signs, hence the title of this blog, and he is truly a handful. He has Cerebral Palsy and this becomes the excuse for his sometimes annoying behavior. Our little girl Carley, Twin A to Corey's B, lived five days before dying due to complications from her 3 month premature delivery.
