Here's Corey's commercial for a book he just read. He wanted to draw a stick person on a piece of paper and call it an advertisement, instead I sat and asked him questions about the book for 1/2 an hour until we put together this script. Quality is poor, but listen to his quazi-excitement.
Way to go COREY! Good job. What do you mean quasi, I thought that he sounded genuine. Wow, he is reading some cool books. I wonder how many "older" people even heard of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius eruption that destroyed it. Maybe he is even educating his parents. Hmmmmmmm.

Great Uncle Jerry visited Pompei after it was excavated. He was in the Navy on a Mediterranian cruise. I remember him telling me about it. He visited Rome and many historic places. I was in the far east; Okinawa, the Phillipines and Japan while in the United States Marine Corps.

Hmmm... Papa, I can honestly say that in Corey's short lifetime he has already outread his father. I read the book before Corey did, so technically I knew about Mt. Vesuvius before Corey did. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGrandpa, thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure Corey's next assignment requires researching Pompeii, Uncle Jerry may get a phone call!
Geez Colleen, your kids are smart!
